• Ask if they have photos. You’ll need 3–5 clear ones. Most people do. If they don’t, an older photo works too.
• It doesn’t have to be "fresh" grief. We make keepsakes for first anniversaries, tenth anniversaries, even decades later. There is no statute of limitations on missing a pet.
• The wearable and carry pieces are less confronting than a full portrait. A necklace or keychain can be quietly present; a framed portrait asks to be looked at. Both are right for different people.
• Plan for time. These are handmade, not drop-shipped. 2–3 weeks of crafting + shipping. If you’re aiming for a specific date, order early.

Is it okay to order a pet memorial gift before my pet has passed?
Yes. Many customers order from us before they need to — for a senior pet entering hospice, or simply to have a keepsake while the pet is still here. It’s a personal choice, and no one we’ve ever talked to regretted it.

Can you make a memorial keepsake from old or lower-resolution photos?
Almost always, yes. Upload the clearest photos you have — we’ve worked from grainy phone photos, scanned Polaroids, and images over a decade old. Our artisans will tell you before production if a photo set isn’t workable, and we’ll refund if it can’t be done well.

How long does a pet memorial gift take to make?
2–3 weeks of crafting, plus 5–10 business days of shipping (US/EU/UK) or 7–14 business days (AU/NZ/Asia). Total door-to-door: roughly 4 weeks. Rush options are available — contact us before ordering.

Is this appropriate as a sympathy gift for someone who just lost a pet?
Yes. A handmade keepsake is more personal than flowers and more lasting than a card. If you’re unsure which format to choose for someone else, a pendant or a keychain is the safest first memorial gift — both are small, wearable or carryable, and don’t demand a wall or a shelf.

Can you include more than one pet in a single keepsake?
Yes. Contact us before ordering if you want a double portrait — most formats support two pets at the same base price (provided the pets are of similar size). For three or more, we handle it as a custom quote.

What if I don’t like the preview photo you send?
You get one free revision. Tell our artisan what to adjust — fur color, eye expression, composition — and they’ll re-work the piece and send a new preview. We don’t ship until you approve.

Are your keepsakes for dogs only, or do you make cat memorials too?
Dogs and cats are both welcome, and we take them equally seriously. We’ve also made keepsakes for rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, and reptiles — contact us first for non-standard pets and we’ll let you know if we can do it well.

Do you offer rush orders for someone’s funeral or a specific date?
Yes, on a case-by-case basis. Contact us before ordering with your date, your format, and your reference photos. We’ll confirm whether we can meet the date before you pay.

Will my keepsake fade, tarnish, or fall apart?
No, with normal care. Sterling silver can be polished; wool felt can be gently dusted; leather develops a natural patina. Every product page has detailed care instructions. For major defects, our refund policy covers replacement.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes — US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, EU, Singapore, Hong Kong, and UAE. Tracked shipping included on all orders. International orders may be subject to customs duties (buyer’s responsibility).

What if my pet has unusual markings, mixed fur, or a non-standard face?
Those are the ones we enjoy most. Our artisans work from your specific photos — not from a breed library — so a tuxedo cat, a split-face dog, a tri-color rabbit all come through as themselves. Upload the clearest photos you have; we take it from there.

Can I return a memorial keepsake if I change my mind?
Because every piece is handcrafted from your photos, general returns aren’t possible — but we guarantee you’ll see a clear preview photo before we ship, and we don’t finalize shipping until you approve. Full terms on our refund policy page.
