How does the wool felt pet portrait work?

You upload 3–5 clear photos of your pet. Our artisan then hand-sculpts a wool felt likeness using needle-felting techniques, capturing your pet's unique fur color, markings, and expression. The finished piece is mounted in the wooden frame.

What size is the pet portrait frame?

The frame exterior is approximately 6×6 inches (15×15 cm). The portrait area inside is approximately 4×4 inches. It includes a stand for desk display and hanging hardware for wall mounting.

Can you make a wool felt portrait of a pet who has passed away?

Yes, absolutely. Many of our frame orders are memorial pieces. Upload the best photos you have of your pet — even older photos work if they clearly show the face, fur color, and markings.

How long does it take to make a custom pet portrait frame?

Wool felt sculpting is our most detailed process, typically taking 3–4 weeks. Shipping adds 5–10 business days (US/EU/UK) or 7–14 business days (AU/NZ/Asia). Total is approximately 4–6 weeks.

Is the wool felt portrait durable?

Yes. Wool felt is naturally resilient and does not fray or shed. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from moisture to preserve the colors long-term. Light dusting with a soft brush keeps it looking its best.
